There are many reasons and factors as to why solicitors may wish to utilise the services of a Private Detective or that of a National Investigative Agency. Some of the reasons for this are noted below.

Process Serving

EJM Investigations provide Process Serving services throughout the UK, for law firms, local authorities and for private and commercial clients directly.

Upon receipt of instructions, our private detectives will liaise closely with the client to ensure quick, efficient, cost effective service. We are able to carry out service at short notice, often same day.

Once service has been effected we ensure that a report and Statement of Service (or where requested, a sworn Affidavit of Personal Service) are completed and returned to the client as a matter of urgency. If we are unable to effect service we will make local enquiries to locate the respondent, and provide a statement allowing an application for sub-service

We believe that service, reliability and attention to detail are all paramount to successful process service, and we therefore guarantee that any document we receive for service will be personally served to our client's satisfaction, and more importantly, in such a way as to satisfy Civil Procedure rules.

Criminal Defence

EJM Investigations’ specialist Private Investigators are skilled in the necessary procedures to undergo an effective investigation on behalf of the defence.

By utilising private investigators with police backgrounds, our private detectives have the knowledge and skills to re-cover police investigations, uncover the truth, interview witnesses known to the defence, and in many cases locate and interview witnesses unknown to the defence. Our private detectives experience of police procedure often brings to light errors in the prosecution procedure, which would make certain evidence inadmissible, this in turn can often lead to clients being found not guilty.

Witness Statements

At EJM Investigations our team of private detectives are able to complete witness statements compliant with both civil and criminal law. We are happy to be instructed to take statements in criminal defence cases, civil procedures, insurance claims etc.
