We were contacted by a law firm in Leeds who required a process server in Wakefield to assist with professional service of legal documents. The matter related to the Family Courts and an urgent application due to be heard 48 hours later.
It was imperative we acted quickly to effect service.

Rumours were that the employee was also working cash in hand in a similar role for another business in the Leeds area.
Over the course of a few days our surveillance operatives were able to follow the subject from his address in Wakefield to a business in Leeds. Once we established where he was working a surveillance operative made a direct approach and was able to covertly film the subject whilst asking him for assistance regarding the products the business sold.
When confronted the employee claimed he did not see an issue as he was only helping a friend out, and it was not really work. However, as he was claiming to be unable to complete the same role for his official employer due to his injury, his claim was substantially undermined.
We later heard he had dropped his claim and handed in his resignation.
