Our Liverpool based private detectives were instructed by a business in the Kirkby area to check if an employee on long term sick leave was being genuine. By deploying a surveillance operative from Liverpool we were able to monitor the subject’s movements. We quickly established that the employee in question was being picked up in a work van prior to 7am.

Our surveillance team were able to follow the subject to a building site in the St Helen’s area and obtain video footage of the subject working on site. Our detectives then reported back to the business in Kirkby and the employee was dealt with. The cost of this enquiry was less than what was paid to the employee in the time he was off sick, meaning employing a Kirkby based private detective was money well spent for this business.

Our Kirkby Process Servers received instructions from a client in the Knowlsey area, requesting they served divorce papers on her husband who lived in Norris Green and worked in Kirkby. After attending at his home and work address it was clear he was being evasive, but this was not a problem as the process servers from EJM Investigations are experienced, and determined when it comes to serving evasive respondents.

Neither was it a problem that the Respondent finished work at 1am. Our process servers attended in the vicinity of his works address prior to his finish time, and were able to locate where his vehicle was parked. They simply waited nearby and served him as he left work and returned to his vehicle. He wasn’t happy about this, but the client certainly was!

We work for numerous law firms carrying out a range of investigative services including process serving, witness tracing and statement taking. We have undertaken instruction from local councils for both process serving and surveillance taskings. Local businesses often call upon us to assist with problem employees, whether it be internal theft, fraudulent sick leave, or exaggerated claims for injuries at work.
